Glen Rose Field of Flags Setup 2026

Join us as we come together once again to prepare the Glen Rose Field of Flags for its 2026 display. This year’s setup will take place at the same location, in the field between the GRISD Admin buildings on HWY 67; 21MAY2026 at 07:30am and will follow the same successful format that brought our community together in 2025. Volunteers will work alongside local veterans, students from GRISD, and community members to help unload, measure, mark, place, straighten, and secure more than 100 American flags for this meaningful display. The Field of Flags stands as a powerful tribute to honor service, remember sacrifice, and reflect the patriotism that unites our community. Every volunteer plays an important role in bringing this display to life. Whether you joined us last year or are participating for the first time, we invite you to come serve alongside local veterans, students, families, and community members as we prepare this year’s field. Volunteer activities may include: Unloading flags and materials Measuring and marking flag placement locations Installing flag poles Straightening and securing flags General event setup support This is a family-friendly community event and a meaningful opportunity for students to serve alongside veterans while learning the importance of remembrance, service, and patriotism.
